TERMS OF SERVICE

At Hadlock Real Estate Photography, we’re committed to delivering top-quality service with transparency and professionalism. Please review the following Terms of Service, which outline important information regarding scheduling, payment, usage rights, and other essential guidelines. If you have any questions, we’re here to assist you.

Payment Terms

Payment is required either at the time of booking, or at the time we make your content available for review online. Making your payment unlocks that content for your review.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.

Unprepared or Inaccessible Properties

To ensure a smooth and efficient shoot, please make sure the property is fully prepared and accessible. If we arrive and find the property unprepared (e.g., clutter, poor lighting, or blocked access), or if the property is inaccessible, a $50 reschedule fee will apply for any return visits. Unfortunately, the initial invoice, if you paid upon booking, is non-refundable as the time was reserved for your shoot.

Refund Policy

We offer refunds for canceled shoots if your request is made within 30 days of the invoice issue date. After this period, refunds will not be processed. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method.

Flexible Arrival Window

Your scheduled time comes with a flexible arrival window of 30 minutes. While we aim to arrive at the exact time, external factors (like traffic or weather) may cause a slight delay. We will always keep you updated if there’s a significant change in our arrival time.

Licensing & Usage Rights

Once we have delivered your final content and you have paid for it, you have full ownership of that content and may use it as you see fit. Hadlock Real Estate Photography, at our sole discretion, reserves the right, however, to use any of that content for marketing purposes.

Highlighting Unique Features

We want to capture every unique aspect of your property. If there are any special features you want to highlight, please let us know in advance. This will ensure they are included in the shoot. Unfortunately, if we aren’t informed beforehand, some features may be missed.

Weather Considerations

We do our best to accommodate weather conditions for outdoor photos. However, in case of rain, snow, or other adverse weather, we cannot guarantee the quality or quantity of exterior shots. If you'd prefer, we can reschedule your shoot to ensure the best conditions.

Safety Precautions

Your safety and our equipment are our top priority. Please ensure all walkways are clear, and any snow, ice, standing water, or equipment has been removed. If there are obstructions or unsafe conditions, we won’t risk our equipment or safety to capture images in those areas.

Drone Photography

We offer drone photography for most residential shoots. However, if your property is located near an airport, in a no-fly zone, or within restricted airspace, we may not be able to offer this service. We will notify you if this applies to your shoot.

Next-Day Delivery Exclusions

We provide 24 to 36 hours delivery of your photos/videos, except on Sundays and holidays. For Saturday shoots, your images/videos will be delivered on Monday. For shoots that occur the day before a holiday, delivery will be on the next business day.

After-Hours Shoots

If you need to schedule a shoot outside of our standard business hours (morning until twilight), we’re happy to accommodate.

Image Editing Disclaimer

Hadlock Real Estate Photography is committed to providing high-quality, accurate visuals for real estate marketing while maintaining transparency and adhering to legal and ethical standards as outlined in Utah real estate law. Please note that certain images may be edited for lighting, clarity, or aesthetic purposes.
 
This includes, but is not limited to:
* Correcting lighting issues
* Adjusting the color of the sky (such as replacing a gray sky with blue)
* Removing temporary objects such as vehicles, trash cans, or other non-permanent items
* Applying virtual staging to showcase potential uses of space
 
Transparency and Accuracy: While every effort is made to ensure that edited images represent the property accurately, these enhancements are meant for visual improvement only and do not alter the actual condition or structure of the property. Hadlock Real Estate Photography does not engage in any editing that would create a false representation of the property’s features or state. All clients and prospective buyers are encouraged to rely on their own inspections and evaluations in addition to the provided images.

Notification of Errors: If you believe that an edited image contains inaccuracies or misrepresents the property, please notify us immediately. We will promptly make necessary adjustments to correct any errors.

Legal Compliance and Ethical Standards: Hadlock Real Estate Photography follows ethical editing practices in compliance with Utah real estate law. We do not engage in intentional misrepresentation, false promises, or deceptive advertising as outlined in Utah Code 61-2f-401. By using our services, you agree that Hadlock Real Estate Photography is not responsible for any unintended misrepresentation due to image editing and shall not be held liable for any claims arising from reliance on edited images.
